TEG awards five Wade and JoBeth Lawson Scholarships

Everyday good deeds and the fruits of good hearts often go unnoticed. But in the case of the 2023 Wade and JoBeth Lawson Scholarship recipients, someone noticed how five young people model kindness, courage, and compassion for others.

The Everyday Good board honored these graduates with scholarships to continue their education beyond high school.

“We celebrate five wonderful, deserving seniors with the Wade and Jo Beth Lawson; this couple loved their community, their family, and each other, but most of all, they loved helping other people,” said Heather Burke-Cody, TEG chair.

It is a great JOY, in their honor, to present TEG's 2023 scholarships, in the amount of $2,500 each, to remarkable individuals: Tallulah Falls School – Carol Kate Dunlap, Isabella Jones, Katie Scaramuzzo and Habersham Central High School – Abbey Donaldson and Suzet Martinez.

“These students exude the personification of GOOD, and we could not be more proud of their kind hearts and generous spirits. We pray God's richest blessings on their lives as they continue to lead, serve, encourage, and inspire,” Cody said.
