The Holy Spirit is blowing through this community, sweeping up everyday people in its wake.
A recent basement renovation project sparked by a dream that answered a prayer brought together a group of volunteers to enrich everyday life for a local family.
The Everyday Good is grateful for the support for the Chester family – father, mother and seven wee ones [and one more due this spring].
Thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia and the generosity of more than 70 supporters, many of whom had no connection to this sweet family, the project unfolded beyond expectations for the grateful family.
In May, we gifted two deserving high schools seniors with the Second Annual Wade and JoBeth Lawson $5000 scholarship. This scholarship is given to students who epitomize the everyday good in their everyday lives. It is our joy to celebrate them by helping to provide financial resources for college. We look forward to this annual scholarship giveaway!
